Use case
The school run, the forms, and everything else
You cleared the pickup reminder without reading it, because you were doing something else. You are always doing something else. That is not a lapse in the system, that is the system: every reminder you get arrives while your hands and your attention are already committed.

The four that actually get dropped
Not the birthdays and not the holidays. The small, dated, single-shot obligations that arrive by letter, by app, or by a teacher mentioning it at the gate.
The thing that had to go in today
PE kit, the money for the trip, the signed form, the photo for the project. It was mentioned once, on Thursday, and it was needed on Monday morning at 08:40.
The pickup that moved
Clubs finish at 16:15 on Tuesdays and 15:10 on Fridays, and this week there is an inset day. A reminder that repeats weekly is wrong for three days out of five.
The medicine at a specific hour
A seven-day course, three times a day. The one you miss is the six o'clock, because six o'clock is when you are cooking and both your hands are busy.
The shopping you remember in the car
You knew what was missing while standing in the kitchen. By the time you are in the shop, you have the vague feeling there was something.
What a household actually needs from a reminder app
Six of them, and you can set all six up in an evening.
Reminders the other adult can take
Share a reminder and they accept or decline on their phone. It ends the argument about whether you told them, because pending, accepted and declined are recorded.
Categories that split the house from the job
Work, Personal, Home, Grocery, Shopping and your own. Filter to one and every day count recalculates, so the evening list is only the evening list.
A shopping list you build by tapping
A Bucket is a list reminder built from a searchable grocery catalogue — tap items rather than typing them. The search runs in English, Hinglish and Hindi, and the whole list rings as one reminder.
A course of medicine with an end
Set several times a day, then set Repeat ends after a number of repeats. A seven-day course stops after seven days without you having to delete anything.
Birthdays, with enough notice to post something
Life events repeat yearly with the person's name, relation and, if you know it, the year, so the reminder can tell you the age they are turning.
A photo instead of a description
The note from the school bag, the label on the uniform supplier, the form that needs signing. Attach the picture to the reminder so you are not relying on your description of it.
A ring you look at before you dismiss it
The pickup reminder fired while you were on a call, so you cleared it the way you clear everything while you are on a call: without reading it. The information was delivered and it never reached you.
App Call is the answer to that specific gesture. The phone rings full screen, like an incoming call, inside Timelee. You still dismiss it with a tap — but you read a ringing screen first, because that is what everybody does with a ringing screen. It costs nothing and it is the app's recommended default.
Pair it with a pre-alarm thirty minutes out. The problem is almost never the 15:10 pickup. It is 14:40, which is when you had to stop doing the other thing.
- Full-screen ring rather than a banner in a stack of thirty
- A 30-minute pre-alarm for anything you have to leave the house for
- Free, and it needs nothing beyond the app being installed

A twenty-minute setup on a Sunday evening
Do it once and the week stops arriving as a surprise on Tuesday.
Put the fixed week in on per-day toggles
Clubs, swimming, bin day, the Friday finish. Seven independent day toggles on a repeating reminder means Tuesday and Friday is genuinely Tuesday and Friday, not a weekly repeat you mentally adjust.
Add the pre-alarms where leaving is the hard part
Thirty minutes before anything involving the car. Five hours before anything that needs baking, buying or signing before it can happen.
Split it with the other adult
Share the four or five that are genuinely theirs. Accepted and declined are recorded, so you both know which jobs have an owner.
Leave one Bucket list running
Add to the grocery list the moment you notice something missing, standing in the kitchen. The whole list rings as one reminder when you want it.

Set it up on a laptop while the house is quiet. It rings on your phone, which is the device that will be with you at 15:10.
The web sets it up. The phone does the ringing
You can create and edit every reminder kind from a browser, including medication, place, life events, buckets and shared reminders. What a browser cannot do is fire them: a geofence has to be watched by a phone, alarm tones play on the phone, and attached photos and voice notes appear on the reminder there. Timelee does not send desktop or browser notifications for reminders — only a finished timer raises one, and only while the tab is open.
Get next week in before it starts
The fixed timetable, two pre-alarms and one shared reminder. That is most of it, and it takes about twenty minutes.
